6 May : CSC may raise wire rod price for July and August

It is reported that China Steel Corporation might raise its wire rod price by TWD 1,200 to TWD 1,500 per tonne for July and August as the cost of raw material keeps rising.

The current international al killed steel wire rod price is about by TWD 27,500 per tonne. China Steel Corporation's price stands at TWD 25,700 per tonne.

It is very reasonable for China Steel Corporation to lift its price by TWD 1,500 per tonne.
