From January to November in 2009, vanadium and titanium steel industry production and sales showed simultaneous increase in Sichuan Province. Major products maintained at the growth rate of more than 10%, and the whole industry appeared to boom.

First: sales revenue maintained a gradual upward trend

From January to November, the vanadium and titanium steel industry achieved sales income of 138.8 billion yuan, an increase of 9.09%, compared to January-October increased by 5.96 percentage points, and achieved 41.64 billion yuan of industrial added value, an increase of 2.73%.

Second: the main products output continued to grow

Production of vanadium products achieved 31.2 thousand tons, an increase of 12.35%, with titanium dioxide 202.6 thousand tons, an increase of 22.52%.

Third: economic decline gradually slow down

January-November the vanadium and titanium steel industry achieved profits and taxes 7.799 billion yuan, down 0.60% with a profit of 4.721 billion yuan, down 6.67%, but high than in January to October by 0.38 and 8.88 percentage points.

Fourth: production and marketing increased

From January-November sales rate for the whole industry was 97.83%, an increase of 0.39%.
