2 Jul : Chalco Cuts Alumina Spot Prices By 7% To CNY2,650/Ton

Aluminum Corp. of China Ltd. (2600.HK) has cut its alumina spot price by 7% to CNY2,650 a metric ton, effective July 1, information portal Umetal reported Thursday.

The company, also known as Chalco, sold alumina at CNY2,850/ton in June.

Alumina is made from bauxite and used to produce aluminum.
