On March 18 , CITIC Jinzhou Ferroalloy Co., Ltd. (JFC for short) held a meeting in the R&D center to summarize the quality optimizing result of CR501, a leading TiO2 product of the company. After four technical improvement and optimization, the acid-soluble index and other key indicators of CR501 have reached or been even better than the level of Dupont TiO2 product R902.

According to the customers＇ feedbacks from different application industries and the track and monitoring activities carried out by JFC, the main difference between CR501 and Dupont R902 is weathering performance, which can be judged by solubility in acid indirectly. In order to narrow the gap with foreign counterparts and to enhance the market competitiveness of general products of the company, the R&D team of JFC had carried out four improvement and optimization on the current production process of CR501 after hundreds of experiments in two months.

All the physical indexes of optimized CR501 are basically the same with DuPont R902. The company believed that the competitiveness of its products will be greatly improved after a period of market testing.

CITIC Jinzhou Ferroalloy Co., Ltd. (JFC) is located in Jinzhou city, Liaoning Province of China and it was founded in 1940.
