It is reported that Beijing Environment Exchange will set up an online platform for voluntary emissions reductions. A complete set of business framework has completed, including seeking buyers, pricing mechanism, reducing trading cost and averting trading risks. The platform will make its debut on June 5th.

BEE will also improve its Panda Standard Version 1, China first voluntary emissions cuts standard. Furthermore, more CERs projects will be launched, via Panda Standard Version 1, in construction and transportation fields. BEE will set VER index for new energy and VER pricing. The exchange will pilot VER projects in Xinjiang and other areas via Panda Standard Version 1.
