Interfax-China reported that Anshan Iron and Steel Group one of China largest steelmakers has signed an agreement with the China Classification Society to improve the company production of steel used in shipbuilding.

As per report, they will assist Angang in developing steel products designed for shipbuilding. In recent years, Angang has been conducting research into production of steel used in shipbuilding. It is one of China major production companies for steel of this kind.

The CSS is the only organization in China which specializes in certifying and classifying materials used in shipping, shipbuilding and related manufacturing industries.
