It is reported that a new silicon steel producer named Tianjin Zhongyuhua Steel Plate Co Ltd started its construction days ago at Chenzui Town, Wuqing District in Tianjin.

With CNY 100 million of registered capital, the producer will enjoy CNY 560 million of investment in all. It’s expected that the producer will build itself into the largest silicon steel production base in North China.

As per report, Tianjin Zhongyuhua Steel Plate Co Ltd is the first private company to produce CR silicon steel in China. The construction of the company will be divided into two phases.

1. The company will set up 0.3 million tonnes per year silicon steel production line, 0.4 million tonnes per year hot galvanized sheet line and 0.3 million tonnes per year color coated sheet line. Those lines will enable the company to reach CNY 5.28 billion of sales revenue per year. And, the company will mainly sell its products to areas along Bohai Sea, Northeast China and Shandong, in the meanwhile, may export part of its products to Russia, Palestine, Philippines, Malaysia, India and other overseas markets. The company will finish the first phase in two years and plans to put it into operation in February 2012.

2. It will start the construction in June 2012 to launch 1 million tonnes per year silicon steel line, which is expected to put into production by October 2013.
