10 May : Talley Metals hikes stainless steel base price by 5pct

Talley Metals Technology Inc announced that it will increase base prices an average of 5% on all stainless steel products.

The increases will be effective for orders placed on or after June 1, 2010 and are due to inflationary pressures and higher demand for its products.

Additionally, all applicable surcharges will remain in effect.

Talley Metals, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carpenter Technology Corporation, produces and distributes stainless steel bar and wire.
