Metalnewsnet 30 Jun : Ministry of Commerce said China has decided to levy anti-dumping duties on some steel and iron fasteners imported from the European Union.
The ministry said the tax, ranging from 6.1% to 26% would be effective from Tuesday.
The MOC said China's domestic industry of manufacturing certain iron or steel fasteners had suffered substantial damages caused by the EU's dumping of these products in Chinese domestic markets.
The tariffs would last for a period of five years, according to the statement.
