Toho Zinc (5707.T: Quote) on Wednesday spurned Nyrstar's (NYR.BR: Quote) revised proposal for Australian zinc miner CBH Resources (CBH.AX: Quote), saying the bid was undervalued and did not reflect the right premium for control.

Toho said it remained a committed shareholder of CBH and said the firm should proceed with a shareholder vote on April 28 for its proposal.

Nyrstar, the world's top zinc producer, made an improved offer for CBH on Monday.
