Last year, after special rectification process of electrolytic manganese in Guangxi, 19 enterprises were forced to  stop production according to the law or self-remediation. Electrolytic manganese companies had invested nearly 100 million yuan to control funds, now more than 85% of manganese production enterprises has been basically completed rectification.

There are 35 Manganese Companies in Guangxi, located in eight cities and 18 counties. Through the special rectification work, electrolytic manganese businesses significantly reduce the amount of wastewater discharge, improving the recovery of manganese and water circulation rate.
