Metalnewsnet 19 May ： Macquarie Group Limited ("Macquarie") announces that, through Macquarie Bank Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary, it has acquired ownership of 3,334,000 units, collectively representing 3,334,000 common shares and 1,667,000 warrants of Continental Nickel Ltd. ("Continental"). Each warrant is convertible into one common share. As a result of the transaction, Macquarie beneficially owns 5,001,000 shares of Continental, representing, to Macquarie's knowledge, 12.31% of the issued and outstanding shares of Continental on a partially-diluted basis. Macquarie has acquired these warrants for investment purposes only. Macquarie may acquire additional securities if they become available at prices that are attractive to Macquarie.
