Metalnewsnet 14 May ： The round table conference of NPI producers, which is one of the most important episodes of the third session of nickel and downstream industrial summit forum, was held in Kunming. Participants shared their views and discussed the following aspects of NPI industry that highly focused by the market players: operating rates as well as capacity expansion and capacity change at NIP producers; impact on NPI industry from Indonesia and from Indonesian local policies; impact on NIP industry from China's regulatory policies; how to select nickel mine inspection companies and how to ensure the inspection results; NPI market movement as well as industry development; the relationship between stainless steel mils and NPI industry and nickel price outlook. More than 100 representative from 80 companies at various production chain of NPI industry participated at the conference, including Baosteel, Jilin Jien Nickel Industry, Honghe Henghao Ming, Zhongbao Nickel, Intertek and Fujian Wuhang Stainless Steel. The round table conference was co-hosted by SMM and CBI. It was reported the conference is the prelude of the third session of nickel and downstream industrial summit forum, and participants will have more extensive and deep discussion on many hot spots that closely watched by industry.
