19 May : China's Yunnan Tin Plans Copper Smelter With 100,000 Tons Capacity

Yunnan Tin Co. (000960.SZ) will partner with an engineering company to build a copper smelting project expected to have an annual capacity of 100,000 metric tons, the company said in a statement Tuesday.

Construction is scheduled to be completed by May 2011, according to the statement.

At 0615 GMT, Yunnan Tin last traded up 3.3% at CNY18.08.
